Wow! Empire was blooming with daffodills! Thanks to all along the main street and some on M-22 for this spectacular show! It was beautiful and I'm sure as the daffodills grow and spred this annual show will continue to impress! Thank You Participants. 2012 is a year like no other as far as I can ever remember living in Michigan. Swimmers in the lake last weekend, yes lake Michigan! No doubt the Lake is warmer than it would have been if the winter was normal, but it wasn't. I'm sure Lake Michigan was still pretty cold. Tempertures in the eighty's again today. The spring flowers are in bloom and leaves are budding on the trees. Hoping the weather at least stays above the freezing mark for the sake of all the crops! Farmers are concerned...(read more)
