It's March 27th and Easter is this Sunday. Snow is in the forecast! Hard to believe but this has been a long winter, at least longer than last year. The

buzz around town...remember last year it was in the 80's! Oh how we do remember last year and the huge storm that hit the area and brought the counties to

a stand still. Hot temperatures in March with a late winter storm that ruined most of the fruit crops in the area for the entire year. So far so good looks like the cherries will be a bumper crop.

Well, all has been pretty quiet with the snow hanging around but i'm predicting that the traffic will pick up as soon as the weather has warmed up. National Park reported record numbers last year and I believe this year will prove to be just as busy if not busier.

The housing seems to have gone as low as it is going to go. Right now the biggest drops have been in the land values and Northern Michigan which has cought up with the rest of Michigan. Still foreclosures and short sales are a part of the market up here. Inventory seems to be going down and the less expensive properties are being gobbled up. Waterfront has been moving...slow but continual sales as the inventory declines. Did I mention now is the time and the year to buy. With the change in supply and demand, I wonder if a Seller's market will be coming down the road sooner rather then later.

One more prediction? With all America's new found oli and gas I believe that the private sector/ corporate america will survive and the economy will improve inspite

of what is going on in Washington... Could very well be like the boom of the 30's. There are those that predict the biggest boom ever!..

With all the predictions, forecast, sequesters, budgets etc. one thing remains and that is the uncertainty that Americans feel and the grip it has

on our future. 2013 will be an interesting.
